Anticipate the VP Supply Chain’s needs and proactively bring together the appropriate people and resources to support the decision making process by ensuring topics discussed at the right forum. Support the preparation of presentations to critical stakeholders: gather and consolidate required information, keep informed of critical relevant information and prepare required materials. Assist VP Supply Chain’s Administrative Assistant in supporting effective calendar, actions and logistics, decisions and interface with key stakeholders to prioritize outcomes. Helps maintain a master calendar or meetings across the SCLT, reviews and critical deliverables to ensure appropriate preparation and avoiding last minute fire drills.
Maintain in conjunction with the S&D team and strategy lead, a cadence of regular reviews of key SC priorities against G&OS aligned with customer and innovation focused vision, mission.
Manage the agenda for the SCLT and any significant meetings for the VP SC: prepare agendas in advance, assist with and provide background information, content development and creation of presentations.
When necessary, travel with the VP SC and SCLT and support the preparation and coordination of customer and/or site visits.
Works in conjunction with SCLT to ensure meetings and Governance reflect agreed to strategic focus, and SC Aspirations (customer focus, Fast Track Innovation, End-to-End solutions, focus on Talent and D&I).
Allows time for the unexpected and periodic discussion and constructive debate to drive robust
Ensures presenters are prepared and deliver a crisp and concise message.
Develops presentation guidelines and works with presenters to ensure content is appropriate and meets guidelines and timeliness for pre-reads.
Captures decisions and actions and ensures follow up list and action log is up to date.
Ensures meeting participants understand purpose of agenda items and expected outcomes.
Support the D&I agenda for Enterprise SC and optimize the VP SC’s role as a sponsor to drive positive outcomes.
Develop in conjunction with communications and S&D a clear communication strategy to ensure strong engagement of the VP SC and SCLT across the organization.
Assist in preparing the VP SC for meetings: gather meeting documents and pre-read materials, prepare executive summaries and provide additional back up information.
Facilitates the flow of information with the SCLT and critical stakeholders and business partners. Must frequently handle confidential information. Participate in brainstorming sessions for various projects.
Advance use of technology from sharepoint and cloud linked file storage to social media to improve efficiency and engagement across the organization.
A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree is required.
MBA/Master’s Degree or successful graduation from one of Johnson and Johnson’s Leadership Development Programs preferred.
A minimum of 6 years work experience is required.
Strong consulting and analytical skills is required.
Proven ability to synthesize large quantities of information and ability to draw conclusions from opinions based on complex and varying data is required.
Strong customer and marketplace focus, negotiation and influencing skills, project management and time management skills is required.
Demonstrated experience engaging with and /or presenting to senior leadership teams is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal communication, customer orientation and organization skills is required.
Must have proven leadership and influencing competencies along with demonstrated business acumen.
Proven ability to be collaborative and to build strong relationships is required.
Ability to understand and navigate the complexities of operating in a matrix global framework is required along with the capability to execute flawlessly in a high stress/fast paced environment is required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and adept at using different types of technology and media is required.
Must be able to speak, read and write fluently in English is required.
Proficiency with Microsoft office and other technologies is required.
