The Director of Noncredit Continuing Education Program Development works under the direction of the Associate Dean of Continuing Education and College Learning Outcomes Assessment. The Director of Noncredit Continuing Education Program Development is responsible for researching industry needs and emerging trends for non-credit, professional courses and certificates and for developing programs in collaboration with the senior program and enrollment development team at Petrocelli.
The Director of Noncredit Continuing Education Program Development is responsible for creating on-demand education and training programs mostly for open enrollment. The incumbent will develop entry and advanced level courses and certificates as well as recommend existing programs that can be implemented based on industry value. The Director of Noncredit Continuing Education Program Development will assist in the identification of emerging credentials and the development of new programs tailored to meet the latest in-demand needs of corporate and government partners.
1.Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience in Continuing Education.
2.A minimum of 4 years of experience working in program development.
3.Computer proficiency for word processing, spreadsheet and data management applications. Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.
4.Experience with Office 365, Blackboard, Constant Contact, and CRM systems preferred.
5.Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills with team-work orientation to serve as an essential management partner. Must be able to communicate effectively with students, faculty, university administrators and corporate constituencies at all levels.
6.Strong analytical skills.
7.Valid driver’s license and accessibility to transportation for travel among campuses and other business sites.
8. Must be willing and able to work at other FDU locations, both on- and off-site, as required, and to travel to outside associations, corporations and governmental agencies.
9.Willingness to work non-standard hours as necessary.
10.Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background and produce a Social Security Card.
