National Security focused trade associations currently seeking an experienced Co-Director of Membership, whose secondary role is Co-Director of Events.
Membership strategy and operations:
As Co-Director of Membership, will be responsible for recruiting and retention strategy and operations, working closely with the President
Develop good working relations with members and recruits
Lead person for invoicing and accounts receivable
As Co-Director of Events, will be part of team managing all aspects of events
Create invitations, send emails to select members and guests, and track responses
Co-manage day of event tasks
Network with Corporate members, government employees and potential recruits
Ad Hoc Tasks:
Manage Outlook contact database
Work with the President to accomplish research in a variety of high tech fields
Track relevant legislation and policy
At least two years of successful membership experience
Prior experience with Customer Relationship Management tools preferable
Prior experience in a dynamic, fast paced, work environment highly desired
Must be a US citizen
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Superb time management skills – the ability to juggle many tasks at once
Attention to detail
Ability to learn standard operating procedures quickly and seamlessly integrate into daily responsibilities
Strong communication and writing skills
Able to work flexible hours
Great sense of humor
Applicants should be able to work well both independently and under guidance. The three associations operate out of a modern, high tech home office located in Northern Virginia. Start date in late February or early March.
