Reporting directly to the principals, this position consists of the direct day-to-day management of projects, design and production. Ideal candidate will have good client interaction skills, a demonstrated ability to manage internal and external project teams on critical schedules, as well as strong time management and communication skills.
Experience leading various project types.
Knowledgeable with all building types.
Ability to understand how buildings are constructed and to create technical documents that succinctly describe the work to be done.
Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills.
Proven ability and willingness to help develop successful client contact, including understanding client needs and maintaining positive client relationships.
Interest in working on all phases of architectural projects.
Technical skills demonstrating an understanding of building systems and a working knowledge of the CA Building Code.
Understand the relationship between design goals and technical constraints and execute accordingly.
Adept at project coordination (consultants, code, specifications, etc.).
Understands and researches current trends in construction, building systems, etc.
Skilled with Revit Modeling Systems.
Experience managing production for both Revit and AutoCAD based projects.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Professional Licensure as a California Architect a plus.
