Under the supervision of the President - HPS, the Practice Manager is responsible for the daily operations and management of the HMH Digestive Health off-site clinics. Creates and coordinates the clinics' procedures, policies, and guidelines. Provides interaction with the Physicians and support staff. Interacts with insurance companies, managed care organizations, employers, and government agencies. Frequent contact with Director of Clinical Operations and CMO. Must be able to communicate, collaborate, and cooperate.
Medical Office Assistant Diploma or two years of college required. Bachelors Degree required. A minimum of three years recent management experience in a physician office, urgent care or emergency department setting may also be considered. Licensed driver with a clean driving record and suitable transportation required. Experience in third party contracts, managed care contracts, and physician-practice electronic medical record implementation preferred. Marketing/Business relations experience is preferred.
