FAD is responsible for oversight of the University's finances, including efficient and accurate transaction processing, financial reporting, budgeting and financial planning, cash and debt management, internal audit services, risk management and sponsored program administration, and administrative systems services. Union: 00 - Non Union, Exempt or Temporary
Knowledge of business and collection procedures
Demonstrated knowledge of rules and regulations that govern the treatment of students and financial activity in the higher education context (FERPA, Title IV, FDCPA, FCRA)
Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation and analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Familiar with Student Receivable operating systems
Experience in a private, research university preferred
Experience with Oracle/PeopleSoft for Higher Education preferred
Experience with Heartland ECSI loan service preferred
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work effectively with people and possess the capability and motivation to inspire direct reports to operate effectively as a team
