UWMC's OPERATING ROOM has an outstanding opportunity for a Full Time (Evening Shift) HOSPITAL ASSISTANT. We are looking for individuals who would enjoy being part of a dynamic, fast paced and challenging team. Typical duties include:
Cleaning OR's after surgical cases
Assisting with OR set ups
Transporting specimens, supplies and equipment
Assisting with patient transfers

Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) with the Washington State Department of Health.
High School graduation AND six months experience involving customer service in a health care setting OR six months experience involving direct patient care OR equivalent education/experience.
Previous work experience as a Nurse Assistant/CNA in a hospital setting preferred.
Excellent customer service.
Ability to effectively and clearly communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
