Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) is a national leader in unaccompanied child (UAC) migrant and refugee issues. Launched in 2008, KIND is dedicated to a world in which children’s rights and well-being are protected as they migrate alone in search of safety. Through a proven model and innovative partnerships, KIND staff and our pro bono attorney partners at law firms, corporations, and law schools nationwide represent unaccompanied immigrant and refugee children in their deportation proceedings by providing high quality legal services. Together, we ensure that no child stands in court alone. KIND is seeking a Grant Manager Position Description & Responsibilities KIND seeks a full-time Grant Manager to join its four-person Development team. Reporting to the Vice President for Public Outreach and Strategic Development, the Grant Manager will develop, write and submit letters grant proposal and reports in coordination with program and development staff. They will coordinate among departments to ensure a smooth flow of information, and to facilitate a thoughtful, strategic relationship between the Development, Programs, Finance, and leadership teams.
