Emory University, Rollins School of Public Health’s Office Career Development seeks a Sr. Associate Director in the Office of Career Development to develop, evaluate and implement all employer recruitment and outreach efforts for the masters-level program of the school. The scope of responsibilities include the following:
In collaboration with the Assistant Dean of Career Development, develop a strategic outreach plan which includes analyzing recent graduate employment data, and demographic student and alumni employment data, creating an annual employee recruitment report and ongoing monitoring and evaluation of initiatives. Serve as a subject-matter expert and resource to the career development team in the development and implementation of marketing materials to include but not limited to email communication campaigns, website and social media to students, current and perspective employers.
Provide regular and consistent progress reports to senior stakeholders; ensuring measurable results are communicated to the wider School community.
Ensure effective use of the office systems – C3M, Handshake, to coordinate and manage communications and events registration; and use available system tools to produce effective reporting.
Engage existing employer relationship and expand employer outreach to meet the demand of a growing graduate student population.
Independently manage, plan and evaluate recruitment events including 2 Career Fairs, on campus recruiting events, Community Advisory Board, yearlong mentoring program, professional development series.
Collaborate with colleagues across the school, including the departmental academic advisory, international student affairs, admissions and recruitment (REAL program), alumni affairs staff of RSPH (and Emory University), faculty and alumni to assist in establishing the direction and priorities for employee recruitment.
Plan and execute campus and office interview. This may include creating interview schedules, and developing supporting materials, work with office manager to secure interview space and catering, greeting employers and students.
Supervise a team of student ambassadors and part-time graduate student assistant
An advanced degree in public health (MPH/MSPH), higher education administration or a related field is required.
A minimum of three years of employee recruitment and employer relations experience in a fast –paced, dynamic high caliber, higher education environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and shift through projects quickly without sacrificing quality
Exceptional communication skills as expressed in presentation style and writing.
Demonstrated success and experience in strategic planning and data driven decision making.
Knowledge of C3M, HandShake, VMock, Interview Stream, Career Fair App, Survey Monkey for managing career development recruitment events.
Technical proficiency in MS Office, including Word, EXCEL and Power Point.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Demonstrated experience collaborating with internal teams and effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and developing partnerships with internal and external stakeholders (employers)
Outstanding client services focus and experience working with employers from federal, state and local government, not-for profit organizations, healthcare systems, academic clients and private industry.
Outstanding event management skills, particularly with large-scale event (120+ participants or more) and student group partner events.
Required to work evenings, some weekends during academic year.
Additional Salary Information: *This is an Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid a salary on a monthly basis and are not eligible to receive overtime pay.
